Elevating Leaders: Part I
Leadership and the Power of Perception
This course sets the foundation for leadership skills. Managers learn to define their vision for their own leadership, discover the powerful truth about our perceptions and connect those to the attitudes and ways of being the leader. They learn how to develop and perform a 360-degree leadership assessment, the results of which bring awareness of false assumptions, false priorities, auto triggers, and limiting perceptions. Finally, the managers learn how to choose to form new habits and understand the six key leadership attitudes and ways of being a leader.
Setting a vision for one’s leadership creates a path that guides the future leaders’ development. This first step in developing leadership skills is important, as managers learn the employee’s perceptions of the leader which in turn brings the manager’s awareness of how his behaviors will affect the attitudes of the staff that he leads.
